France Summer Guide

It’s surprising that a country with so many good winter resorts has so little to offer for summer snowboarding. 99% of French resorts switch off their lift systems at the end of April regardless of how much snow is still on the slopes.

The few resorts that do operate in summer provide a lot of high altitude services with snowboarding only a small part of the mountain activities on offer. Climbing and mountain biking are considered the main attractions here.
