The second annual Burton Australian Open at Falls Creek, VIC from August 25th to 27th 2006. As apart of the international Burton Open bill, the Australian Open is leading the way, as the largest event on our shores.
The three-day event welcomes all riders to compete, with an equal shot at the world-class title.
Again the Highest placed Australian rider from both Men’s and Women’s, Pipe and Slopestyle event will win a wildcard to the US Open in Stratton Vermont. In 2007. Plus extra prize money to pack in the bags.
With over $60,000AUS in cash and prizes up for grabs plus the inclusion of a invitational rail jam on and live music event on the Saturday night. Falls Creek is going to be the place to witness the event of the season.
Fun, entertainment and excitement will fit nicely with the Falls Creek village vibe. Come and experience this event driven by riders for riders
