Slopestyle contest at Nevis

Nevis in Scotland will be holding a slopestyle competition on Saturday 24th at the Terrain Park on the summit of Aonach Mor with excellent prizes, sound system and Bar* on the Summit.

The format will be:

Registration in Snowgoose Restaurant: 9 -10.30
Practice (park's at Summit): 10 -11
Competition first discipline tbc: 11
Practice: 1 - 2
Competition 2pm

There's a free minibus back to Fort William @ 19:30 & 20:00 for those who want to stay on for a pint or two after the event

The Engineers have been busy building new fencing on the hill A total of 1200 metres of fencing is either completely new, or has been re built. 900 metres of this fencing is brand new rail style fencing. -21Nov11
Nevis in Scotland opens for the season
The Nevis Range resort officially opened for its twenty-second winter season on Saturday 18 December. Snow had been falling on the slopes for several weeks previously, building up a good base on the upper mountain. Over 10cm of fresh snow had fallen the day before, treating customers to a day of fresh snow on a firm base, although at times visibility was fairly poor -18Dec10
