Wed 24 December 08Repair work on tower 4 was completed Monday and testing took place throughout Tuesday in accordance with BC Safety Authority and Doppelmayr test protocol. The Excalibur Gondola will be in full operation December 24
White & O’Brien win the Slopestyle at Breckenridge
Sat 20 December 0822-year old White scored a 95.17 on his second run, which began with a frontside 270 at the top rail, a frontside 1080 on the first jump to a backside 900. He finished with an impressive 1260, a three and a half revolution spin, on the bottom jump.

Excalibur gondola tower collapses at Whistler
Wed 17 December 0853 people were trapped as one of the towers collapses causing the line drop, and gondola stations in the lower section to become trapped. Only minor injuries have been reported and all people have now been successfully been evacuated
Roxy Chicken Jam cancelled due to high winds
Mon 15 December 08Winds gusting up to 140 km/hour and flat light combined caused the Swatch TTR 6Star Roxy Chicken Jam to be called off. Event organizers cancelled the competition after assessing the difficult weather conditions
