Clair Bidez and Joe Eddy take 1st place in snowboard pipe, Keri Herman and Colby West take 1st place in ski slopestyle at the NISSAN ASPEN/SNOWMASS OPEN


Clair Bidez of Minturn, Colorado and Joe Eddy of Mammoth Lakes, California take first place in snowboard pipe and Keri Herman of Breckenridge, Colorado and Colby West of Canterbury, New Hampshire take first place in ski slopestyle at the second annual NISSAN Aspen/Snowmass Open.

Two female Aspen/Snowmass team athletes placed with Jordie Karlinski taking third in the womens snowboard pipe and Megan Olenick taking second in the womens ski slopestyle.

The 2007 Nissan Aspen/Snowmass Open presented by Esurance kicked off Thursday in Aspen/Snowmass, Colorado with qualifying rounds of skiing and snowboard superpipe and slopestyle competitions, all taking place on the same superpipe and slopestyle courses as the Winter X Games at Buttermilk.

Over 300 male and female athletes from five countries are competing for a prize purse of nearly $30,000 in eight disciplines within skiing and snowboarding.

Following are results from todays final rounds in men and womens snowboard superpipe and men and womens ski slopestyle.

Watch tomorrow for men and women ski superpipe finals as well as men and women snowboard slopestyle finals on Buttermilk.

Mens Snowboard Superpipe
