Budweiser together with Burton returned to Livigno for the 2nd edition of the Budriders River Jump 2007! Livigno is well-known in the snowboard circuit and hosted the Burton European Open from 2002 2004. The Budriders Snowpark up on Mottolino as well as the setup down for the River Jump were incredible, heads up to Roberto Moresi and his crew for a phenomenal job and an amazing event!
Burtons US rider Yale Cousino was the man of the day and took home both the Slopestyle title as well as the King of the River title!
The evening saw the original Budriders River Jump with a creative setup where the riders had to go over the river Spoel. The Top 12 riders of the Slopestyle finals from earlier today plus 8 invited riders including US rider Eddie Wall and Burtons own Yale Cousino, Chris Rotax and Sami Saarenpää battled for the win at the Budriders River Jump and the King of the River title and 30.000 ¬ prize-money.
The 20 riders put on an amazing show in front of the Livigno crowd. 4 riders moved into the Big Finals US riders Eddie Wall and Yale Cousino as well as Finlands Sami Saarenpää plus Italian hero Tato Chiala. In exciting finals it was Yale Cousino who was standing on top of the podium and took his second victory of today. He earned himself another 10.000 ¬ prize-money. What an amazing day! Its my first time ever in Europe! It was so much fun today, Europe is fun, Italy is fun! I cant believe I won both comps today. I definitely wanna come back next year, says a stoked Yale. His winning run included a Backside 1080 over the kicker, a frontside boardslide over the river-rail and a frontside blunt 270 out on the down rail.

80 riders competed already on Friday in the Slopestyle Qualifications up on Mottolino, where the Top 20 entered the finals on Saturday. Burton Rider Yale Cousino dominated todays Slopestyle finals at the 4 Star TTR Event in Livigno, Italy and took home another 3.000 ¬ of the total prize-purse. His winning run included a frontside boardslide on the down-flat-down rail, a backside 10 on the 22 meter-long kicker, an Indy Air on the hip and a Cab 9 on the last kicker.
