On the 26th of May 30 snowboarders met at the huge Qiaobo Indoor slope just outside Beijing

It takes an hour ride in a cab from Beijing Downtown to get to Qiaobo Indoor snowresort in Shunyi County. The busiest hours on the two slopes are during evenings and on the weekends.
Most of the Beijing Snowboarders are happy to escape the heat outside and go ride with friends. This time though it got serious with a boardercross setup ending in a pool filled with balloons.
The –2 degrees inside the Ice&Snow World didn’t matter to the cheering 30+ participants, even when they got wet off sliding.
On the second slope, Wang Lei had shaped and rearranged the park with a 6m kicker and a brandnew rainbowrail. Later the Party was rocking and the lucky winners took home some Burton gear to show off.
