The 1st programme of the World Cup Skiing & Snowboarding on Channel 4 series starts this Sunday 18th November at 8am

In this weeks show the Channel 4 ski team follow British No.1 Chemmy Alcott to Las Lenas, South America as she embarks on her pre season training. Nick Fellows also catches up with both of the defending World Cup Champions, Aksel Lund Svindal and Nicole Hosp before start of the World Cup season.
The first programme of the season is jam packed with thrilling race action from the start of the tour. Join us for a round up of the first two Alpine World Cups as we cover the men and women’s Giant Slalom from Soelden and also the men and women’s Slalom races from Reiteralm, Austria.
There is also the chance to enter a competition to win a place for two at the Sunday Times Crystal Ski Challenge 2008 in Mayrhofen, Austria. The winner and a friend will win a weeks half board accommodation in a four star hotel including flights and transfers. They will also receive free lift passes and equipment, take part in training camps to improve their skiing and compete in the weeks racing, which is almost as competitive as the après ski!
The Channel 4 ski team will be filming the Sunday Times Crystal Ski Challenge so there will also be a chance for the winner to appear on World Cup Skiing on 4 at the end of March 2008!
Sunday 18th November promises to be a brilliant start to the new series of World Cup Skiing on 4 don't forget to tune in this weekend at 7.55 am
