Thu 03 July 08
Over 100 of the UK's top freestylers including local ripper Cody Heirons will be destroying the slopestyle course over the weekend which will include a 42ft long, 5ft high rollercoaster rail

It’s all about the steeze next weekend 12th & 13th July when the 2008 British Snow Tour heads ‘Eastside’… to Chatham, for the Animal Slopestyle Championships and Big Air Jam. The schools tour will also continue its quest to educate the kids in the ways of the UK shredder by visiting two Chatham schools on 10th & 11th July and giving away 200 FREE beginner lessons.
Over 100 of the UK’s top freestylers including local ripper Cody Heirons will be destroying the slopestyle course over the weekend which will be made up of: a 42ft long, 5ft high rollercoaster rail, a massive flat down kink rail shipped in from a US snowpark, a brand new C box, a variety of kickers and a huge 60ft battleship box. A relaxed big air jam kick starts each day’s competition whilst new sponsor SUSO’s FREE juice samples, Tony B’s tunes and James Thorne’s heckling on the mic will be sure to keep everyone entertained!

Demo sponsors, K2, Ride, DC Snowboards and LINE and K2 ski’s will be laying on their full range of hardware kit to test drive on Saturday evening and for anyone wanting to make a night, weekend, summer holiday of it, Chatham Ski & Snowboard Centre are offering competitors and spectators the chance to pitch up and camp onsite for only £5 per night.
