After a great British Dryslope Championship series across the UK, the British Snow Tour looks forward to heading indoors, kicking off its first indoor event, the Animal British Slopestyle Championships at Castleford SNO!zone on Saturday 20th September

After a great British Dryslope Championship series across the UK, the British Snow Tour looks forward to heading indoors, kicking off its first indoor event, the Animal British Slopestyle Championships at Castleford SNO!zone on Saturday 20th September. 

With a massive local scene at Castleford, boasting with names such as, Dom Harrington, Laura Hill, and freeskiers James Woods and Katie Summerhays, the Animal Slopestyle Championships looks set to be an epic first indoor event. Riders will have a variety of freestyle toys to choose from including, an assortment of rails, a kicker gap down box, a barrel tower and wall ride to keep all entertained.

Welcoming all ages, abilities, styles and outfits, the British Snow Tour isn’t just for the elite. There are prizes and medals stretched across five age categories, (kids, youth, junior, senior and masters) with TTR points, FREE product testing, even FREE beginner lessons for your dad up for grabs!

Animal Slopestyle Championship Schedule:
Saturday 20th September, Castleford SNO!zone
• 9am – 4.30pm: Animal Snowboard Slopestyle Championships
• 10am – 8:30pm: Animal Freeski Slopestyle Championships
• 12noon – 4pm: FREE introductory Ski & Snowboard lessons with the Animal Lesson Academy
• 7pm – 10pm: FREE demo testing, courtesy of K2, Ride, DC Snowboards and LINE and K2 Ski’s

James Thorne, Matt Walder and Paddy Graham make up the highly inspirational schools tour team, who will be continuing their quest to introduce kids to skiing and snowboarding and will be joined in Castleford by Animal pro rider Dom Harington and Laura Hill. Visiting two secondary schools, the Schools Tour team will be dishing out FREE introductory ski and snowboard lessons and demonstrating how the pro’s do it, showcasing their skills on the ski and snowboard simulator courtesy of SNO!zone
