The Altitude Comedy Festival is like no other festival. Set in the stunning picture postcard surrounds of Mayrhofen in Austria, you can hit the slopes all day and laugh all night with an incredible line-up of the world’s funniest comedians. Curated by Andrew Maxwell, the Altitude experience already boasts a staggering array of talent including Jimmy Carr, Frankie Boyle, Al Murray, Ed Byrne and Tim Minchin but things are set to get better than you could imagine with even more amazing comedians joining the bill.

We’re enormously excited to announce that Michael Winslow will be adding his jaw-dropping aural trickery to proceedings. Best known for starring as Motor Mouth in the Police Academy films (left), Michael’s sonic send-ups have to be seen and heard to be believed. Also making the trip to Austria’s picturesque Zillertal region is star of Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Phill Jupitus plus there will be sets from Brendon Burns who scooped the Edinburgh Comedy Award in 2007 and another Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner, Phil Nichol, Edinburgh Comedy Award Nominee Pete Johansson, star of Show Me The Funny, Tiffany Stevenson and Mock The Week and The Tuesday Club’s Ian Stone.

Altitude Festival Curator Andrew Maxwell commented, “I can't believe we are announcing someone from Police Academy. Police Academy! Michael Winslow is the Godfather of Beatboxing and he's one of the best performers the world has ever seen. I saw him this year at the Edinburgh Fringe and he was beyond totally amazing and blew my mind! I'm so happy he's at Altitude.”
