Spectacular Snowboarding Returns to Livigno/Italy from 21st to 23rd of February 2012!

The sixth edition of the BURN RIVER JUMP, organized by Burton Snowboards Italy in cooperation with Mottolino Swatch Snowpark, APT Livigno and Ski Passion Snow-Ski Area, will return to Livigno, Italy, from the 21st to 23rd of February 2012.
Livigno is getting ready to welcome a new edition of the BURN RIVER JUMP, the most important appointment of the Italian wintersport resort. Over the years the event established its position on the list of the most remarkable snowboard events of the international panorama.

As title sponsor of the event, BURN is always searching for new ways to positively make its mark on the Italian freestyle scene. The innovative style and unique format of the event combined with BURN’s creative passion makes for a winning partnership.
The prestige and the importance of the BURN RIVER JUMP has been confirmed also by the decision of the TTR World Snowboard Tour, the most known circuit of snowboard competitions in the world, that has underlined the high quality of the event conferring to both competitions the 5 star level!

The Mottolino Swatch Snowpark, one of the most famous parks in Europe, will be the playground, where top freestylers from all over the world will perform on February 21st and 22nd in the first of the two offered 5 star TTR events, the BURN SLOPESTYLE CONTEST. The shapers are already working and studying a new set-up of the structures to assure a high technical level for the riders’ tricks and a surpassing show.

The most conspicuous part of the US$ 50.000 prize purse can be earned by the riders in the second competition. On February 23rd the best ranked riders of the BURN SLOPESTYLE CONTEST will meet the invited and seeded top stars as well as the wild card holders. They all will be the main actors of a long expected show and they will illuminate the night of Livigno with the unique jump over the river “Spoel”, the BURN RIVER JUMP.
