The new quota of visas now available from the High Commission of Canada means that anyone considering heading off on a transatlantic working holiday for up to a year can catch the end of the ski season in Canada if they apply now.
And for those who find the whole visa application process a little daunting, help is on hand from overseas work specialist, BUNAC, whose Work Canada programme provides comprehensive assistance with travel arrangements and job-hunting, airport transfers and first night accommodation, plus orientation advice and ongoing support during the trip.
Great value at just £254, Work Canada allows British students and young people aged 18 to 30 to take advantage of the healthier Canadian job market*, while gaining great life experiences, enhancing their CVs and enjoying an adventure or two along the way.
Participants have access to multiple job opportunities and accommodation listings, as well as receiving numerous invitations to social events and expert support all year round from a dedicated team of specialists in the UK and Canada.
The lead time for visa applications is approximately six to eight weeks so, by applying now, not only will travellers be able to enjoy some time on the Canadian ski slopes, they will also be ahead of the game in sorting out work placements for the remainder of their year.
For further information about BUNAC’s Work Canada programme, visit http://www.bunac.org.uk/uk/workcanada/ or telephone 020 7553 6180.
