There’s no denying that UK shredders love a good ol’ jam session and what better than a brand new format to quench that thirst.  The British Indoor Championships will return on September 22nd with the new Wham Bam Thank You Jam.

The innovative format will put shredders through their paces in a ride to the death elimination process.  An open jam session of the whole course will cut the entire field in half.  The remaining riders will session one zone at a time with the field being continually cut in half after each round,  culminating in one mega shred off on the final zone.  The format is simple; throw down or you’re out!

We still feel it’s important to give younger riders the chance to compete in a more formatted style, allowing them to be ranked in their age category and to continue to award those that are progressing through the ranks.  With this in mind we’ll still be running formatted single runs for the kids and youth categories.

They’ll get two runs of the whole course with their best run counting.   They’ll also still get the opportunity to go up against everyone else and compete in the open jam session to become the overall Indoor British Champion.
