Due to unforeseen issues around the current event location,Performer and longtime event sponsor Burn Energy Drink have decided to cancel the Burn River Jump 2013. This will allow time to rethink the event format and whereabouts, for a stronger future event.
Organizers and partners of the Burn River Jump are even more passionate and focused on assuring the necessary requirements for a top level competition in the future. Born in 2006, Burn began to support the event in 2009 when it became stronger than ever. In 2010 it gained the 5 TTR stars for both scheduled competitions and up to now, has been one of the best events of the international snowboard season and an overriding success with both participants and spectators.
For next season, organizers and Livigno are already working on potential opportunities to further improve the contest and the worldwide visibility of Italian snowboarding, which has become internationally renowned, partly due to the Burn River Jump.
Hope to see you in Italy for the River Jump 2014. Don’t forget us, have fun, enjoy riding and take care, Astrid.
