It's falling honest

Snow at last Snow at lastsnow window

With North America getting more snow than it knows what to do with Europe’s start to the season has had many a resort boss looking though the papers for a new job. But don’t book that Trans Atlantic flight just yet as yes we’ve had some Snow, even Scotland got some, but the winds put a stop to any boarding.

Hintertux, Austria got 80cm up on it’s glacier, while Saas-Fee got a whopping 85cm. In the 3 valleys Courchevel is still closed while Meribel and Val Thornes are open, but it’s boarding between the mud and rock spots. There’s still no boarding down to resort in Val’d’Isere and Tignes but both have upper slopes open.
The Italian Dolomite resorts are still struggling while the Italian high alpine resorts to the west are doing ok with most having a meter or so up high.
Out east it’s not much better Poland’s been getting a little snow while nothing in Bulgaria has opened yet and Slovakia faring pretty badly as well. Slovenia's having a disappointing start after last years bumper season.
But a least it’s starting to fall so don’t give up on Europe quite yet. You know what the late interviewee say’s “better late than never”
