Lake Louise extends closing date to May 11
After a record breaking March snowfall, Lake Louise Ski Resort has announced it will remain open for an additional week.
Originally scheduled to wrap up the season on May 4th, the Lake Louise Ski Resort will keep its runs open until May 11th, much to the cheers from skiers and snowboarders visiting the iconic destination.
The mammoth ski season in Banff National Park typically runs from mid-November until late May, with continual dry, light snow throughout. Mt Norquay will have open runs until April 21, while Sunshine Village tends to close out each season will the final ski send-off, Slush Cup. Currently the last day of the ski season is scheduled for May 19 at Sunshine Village. Stay tuned for updates.
