New ‘Over the Moon’ in La Plagne
The world’s first snow groomer suite, for the ultimate romantic escape
The French Alps resort of La Plagne has launched a world first - ‘Over the Moon’, a very special VIP suite, located in a converted snow groomer on the Arpette Summit, at 2,400 m.
This remote mountain peak hideaway provides a luxurious off-the-grid experience - for the ultimate romantic escape for lovers. Even getting there is the epitome of luxury, a private transfer by chauffeur-driven Jaguar to Plagne Bellecôte and then on to the summit by snow groomer, a thrilling start to a truly magical night!
The height of romance, the cosy suite comes complete with VIP touches such as a queen-sized bed, spa bath, large flat-screen TV, stereo, and coffee machine. Guests will enjoy a bottle of Champagne, freshly-crafted macarons, and there is even a complimentary ‘Lovebox’ gift, including an erotic board game, feather and massage oil.
The suite features panoramic windows with breathtaking views of the snowy mountains, as well as a transparent ceiling, so that guests can sleep under star-studded skies.
The couple is left alone at the summit overnight, enjoying the utmost privacy, with only a radio for communication if needed - ‘Over the Moon’ has a tagline of ‘What happens at 2000 metres stays at 2000 metres’.
Waking to peaceful, clear mountain air and a breakfast of fresh pastries and coffee, the couple is collected for their transfer back to the resort and reality.
