Rowan Coultas and Billy Morgan had A Big Weekend!
17-year-old Rowan Coultas showed the rest of the world that he is one of Great Britain’s best young snowboarding talents with 3rd place in the Red Bull Nanshan Open in China. The invite only event saw 30 riders tackle the Slopestyle course in one of Asia’s biggest snowboarding competitions.
Over in Innsbruck, Coultas’ teammate Billy Morgan did himself proud at the Air + Style in Innsbruck, finishing in 9th place overall with a score of 80.32, throwing down some impressive triples. He will now head over to Kreischberg to join the GB Park and Pipe team at the Freestyle Ski and Snowboard World Championships. The action from Kreischberg will be live on Eurosport, with the Snowboard and Ski Slopestyle finals (Wednesday 21st January), the Big Air finals (Saturday 24th January) and the Ski Cross finals (Sunday 25th January) being shown on the BBC red button and online.
