A modern 8-seater chairlift (DOPPELMAYR) with heated seats and bubble that will replace the old Polten 4-seater chairlift, the cost is estimated to be around 7 million euros.

Leogang also gets it’s second cable car which will head from the valley up to the Skicircus. The new 10-seater single cable gondola lift is 3.8 km in length and is able to transport 2500 people per hour. The construction cost of the gondola lift including its bottom, middle, and top stations is planned to be in the region of €17 million The Leogang Lift Company is convinced that the new Steinbergbahn lift will further enhance the high quality of the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang and will also give an additional drive to the very positive development of the tourist region of Saalfelden Leogang.

Increased snowmaking will also be available thanks to the constructions of the Reservoir Polten. The new reservoir will have a capacity of about 80,300 cubic metres and the project will take approx two years  and 10.5 million euros to complete.

Additionally, the lift companies are also investing in vehicles, piste bashers, snow making machines and restoration of slopes, etc. Since 2000 alone the lift companies of Saalbach Hinterglemm and Leogang have invested more than € 300 million in modernising and improving the ski resort for our guests comfort.
