Plan your ski day in your PJs
Today, Crystal Ski Holidays releases their new version (4.0) of the Ski Explorer App featuring over 125 ski resorts around the world introducing a number of features suggested by uno4sers last winter.
The app is designed as an overarching tool to help skiers and their friends to get the most out of their holiday.
What's new?
- Real-time lift and slope information1 - you can plan your ski day before even getting out of bed.
- Route planner to get from A to B - handy if you've planned to meet your friends for lunch or to find the fastest way back to your hotel at the end of the ski day.
- Mountain and resort points of interest - that's important, especially for families.
- Unique for Ski Explorer app: see your ski track on the piste map - relive who skied fastest, highest or furthest with your track for the day all mapped out on the piste map
Ski Explorer App 3.0 was released in December 2015 and has proved immensely popular with skiers - nearly 100,000 people downloaded it last year connecting skiers with over 500 Crystal ski reps on the mountains. All the features from version have been retained.
Essential on-the-slope features, know-how from our expert team on the ground, resort and mountain maps pinpointing the sweet spots to our favourite routes round the mountain, all plotted out.
Crystal Managing Director Chris Logan said: "App users can plan their ski days in advance, even before their travel. They can receive notifications from the resort team, access snow and weather forecasts, and once they're on the mountain, they can get live lift info, ski tracking that maps out their travels, friend-finder technology so they can meet up with their pals on the slopes, and our handy route planner to get them from A to B."
