The last stage of the popular Snowboard Amateur Series kicked-off with the Contest Day on Saturday. Snowboarders of all age groups were not only battling for attractive spots on the day podium, but also trying to rake in last points for the overall tour ranking. After four out of four events, the new royal Zillertal Välley Rälley family was finally crowned in Mayrhofen. After the contest, the kings and queens 2016/2016 were honored and celebrated at the FinÄl Crowning Party at Scotland Yard Pub.

Sunday was fun day! Some of the youngest local up-and-coming talents were getting involved in the coaching sessions with the Ästhetiker and the very 1st Penken Fun RIDE Battle presented by Billabong went down with more than fifty competitors on the new Fun Ride Slope at the Penken Park, while not only the top podium spots got rewarded with nice prizes by Billabong. To wrap up an amazing final weekend, everyone tweaked it under the bar at the Limbo RIDE to take home even more prizes from Ride Snowboards. MonEpic aka Andreas Monsberger has captured the entire weekend and loads of smiling faces in the recap video.

Snowboard Guide rating 8 out of 10 “Big area, with some decent freeriding, and maybe the best park in Austria. Has a big British seasonaire contingent, and the home of Snowbombing and the Altitude festivals.”
