Telluride, USA
Telluride.
Tue 7 November 2006 ricoWent here in Jan/ Feb 05 and I liked this resort very much.
Easy to follow piests, clear well marked trails, fantastic views of the
No queues for the lifts. Wide piests make this a good resort for beginners and intermediaries.
The prospect bowl area is worth visiting, but keep your speed up.
There are many long runs, or well thought out links between the runs. I particularly liked the enchanted forest area with plenty of variations going between the trees.
If you’re an ice climber, by staying in Ouray you get a deal on a days lift pass and it’s only just over an hour away.
