Falls Creek, Australia
Introduction
Falls Creek is a well developed modern resort that will make a weeks stay well worth it, but any longer a bit tedious. The 90 or so marked out trails are evenly split between beginner and advanced level, but although there are a lot of runs none are that long. Still the terrain is good and expert riders will find a selection of steep runs off the Ruined Castle chairlift which also gives access to some open sections and a route down to the terrain park. The terrain park has a 120m superpipe, the first in Australia. Carvers who like to go fast, will be able to down the fast blacks of the Internation t-bar, while beginners will find the Eagle chair gives access to good nursery slopes.
