excellent freeriding

best known for its mellow tree runs in the mid top section which are super fun - a favourite place for girl freeriders. the best place we found is over the back side from the top on the way to the link lift to gerlos, the pistes are quiet, the scenery breathtaking and there are awesome hits, drops, windlips, gulleys everywhere without too much of a hike. if you traverse accross the left ridge from the top of the top lift facing towards gerlos you will find an array of chutes - each one getting steeper and more extreme as you go along so you can build up to them . they also hold the snow here for a couple of weeks. it is a dangerous place and there are avalanche warnings so be careful but if youre in the area and the conditions are right you have to check this place out! - god i love snowboarding!
