Who knows or cares what Zurs means in Austrian; what we can tell you is that in plain English, Zurs stands for super-sad, super-rich, super ponces, and the worst level of stuck-up skiers known to man. This relatively small resort is in the same locality as that other fur-dripping hangout, Lech.

However, on a more positive side, the slopes are surprisingly free of champagne-drinking 'wa wa's', which means that riders can roam freely over some excellent slopes. Zurs is without doubt, one of Austria's most spectacular resorts and could rival any in Europe when it comes to the type of terrain it has to offer. Its diverse and interesting slopes make it a great place to snowboard, offering powder fields and miles of pistes
