Apex Mountain, Canada

Rated 8 out of 10

Great resort

Sat 3 February 2007 Anton

We were in Apex at the end of January 2007, the resort was very quiet in spite of the downhill ski competition. Some runs had no one on but us. In spite of the freeze / thaw that created a crust in some resorts there was still fresh snow to be found in the trees. There is a good selection of runs in varying degrees of difficulty, the easier ones are off stocks chair and the more difficult ones off “Grandfathers Trail” to the right of the “Quickdraw” lift.

All in all it was a good resort, and the Gunbarrel Saloon was an affordable and enjoyable place to end the day and serves some great food.
