Travel by BusBy bus/coach

Pure Travel operate an almost daily bus service from Calgary Airport to Golden - it's not cheap but it's very comfortable, quick (compared to the Greyhound) and will take you to the door of your accommodation (unless that happens to be a friend's house) Greyhound operate from Calgary Downtown to the Husky gas station on Highway 1 just outside Golden, takes between 3 & 4 hours and you'll probably want a taxi to get you to your accommodation in town or on the hill unless you're staying on the 'Strip' as the bus station is 15-20 minutes walk out of town. An old school bus runs as a shuttle makes the return trip from Golden to Kicking Horse a couple of times each morning and evening - $3 each way
