Mont Sainte-Anne is a decent resort and will certainly keep an intermediate rider content for a few days and a beginner satisified for a week with ease. With its proximity to Quebec City, the tree lined slopes here attract hoards of city dwellers at weekends, making this a busy place to ride and while the resort can boast lots of rideable terrain, this is not the highest of resorts. Any resort close to a large city is often busy and suffers long lift queues, but thanks to the fast, high-tech lift system, these are greatly eliminated. Spread out on three facing slopes, South, North and West, the trails cut through thick trees that stretch to the summit. The South Face offers the most challenging terrain, with a number of decent black and extreme runs, which will test both freeriders and carvers alike.
