Nanshan, China

The resort lies 80 km northeast from Beijing. If you go by public transport, take a bus from Dongzhimen to Miyun and then take a taxi. Nanshan offers 3 chairlifts, 2 draglifts and a beginners area. There is a snowpark, with a mini 1/2 pipe but it’s not groomed all season. The Nanshan Open is held every year in January, and it held China’s first professionally organised Snowboard Event in 2003. Off the slopes, you can choose from a Chinese and a ‚Western style restaurant which offers a buffet. There are small lodges and rooms available, book in advance. Prices to hit the slope vary from 220 RMB on weekdays and 360 RMB for weekends.
