World Snowboard Guide 11th edition

Pyha, Finland

Introduction

Phya is as small as they can possible get, with just eight or so runs and nothing longer than two turns on a long carving board. However, it is a snowcovered hill that has a half-pipe and a couple of fairly steep runs. A good intermediate will manage quite easily, but an advanced rider really shouldn't bother with this place. Actually, only novices should give it a go, if you live locally because its not worth trecking up other-wise.
