Small, quiet resort. It benefits from a good snow record and the Mont Blanc effect. Mainly a French resort and only a few Brits (Ski Total). Good cruising and a surprising amount of off-piste, but short runs. Lift system a bit cranky and it takes ages to get up the mountain. Still, it has plenty of accom (self catering) and some restaurants/bars. Even a euro-disco (nightclub is stretching it). Come with a car and do the whole Chamonix ski-safari thing if your more adventurous. Or stay in Saint Gervais to save money.
