Off the slopes the town is a little over priced, but if you want to buy some fur moon boots you're in the right place.

Nightlife

Megeve and St Gervais are not party towns are better for more chilled out evenings.

Accomodation

Relatively few British tour operators go to Megeve and many of them are quite pricey and cater for the top end of the ski market. You could opt to stay though in the old spa town of St Gervais as it makes a convenient base for touring the Mont Blanc region.
