Iceland

Iceland Introduction

Iceland has 12 resorts which allow snowboarding both in the winter and summer months. None of the resorts are particulary large of offer extensive mountain services. What you have are basic low level mountains with poor road access to them. On the slopes runs tend to be short and not that well maintained. However, Iceland is a very friendly country and resorts are more than happy to provide hits for freestylers to get air off. Visitors to Iceland will notice that apart from the short day light hours, that this is a very expensive country. Visa requirements for entry into the county and very liberal but you will need to have return flight tickets on arrival.
