Snowpark, New Zealand
Snowpark is New Zealands latest resort, only opening a couple of seasons ago, and is the only one dedicated to freestyling. Natural terrain wise this place will not get your pulse racing, but natural is not was this place is. What you get is a resort packed with pipes, rails, hips, boxes the lot; and a team dedicated to making it happen and happen big. Theres no equipment hire so make sure you turn up with everything.
New for season
2008: More terrain on box run creating new freestyle run of intermediate jumps and jibs. Half Pint Park has been moved and expanded. Night riding every tuesday & friday.
06 season: lots of playing with diggers resulting in most of the advanced jumps are now earth formed, providing more snow to expand the intermediate facilities. Planning to build an artificial cliff drop.
