Make sure you have your trip arranged before you go there. Kamchatka used to be a territory "closed" for foreigners for decades, and even though now you don't need a special permission to get there, it's still hard to get around on one's own (unless you have basic Russian skills). It's recommended to get in touch with some local riders or arrange a travel through an agency (will be expensive, though).

Moroznaya is in 37 km from the nearest city - Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. There are several hotels in the city.
