Zavyalikha, Russia
Introduction
Zavyalikha is a snowboard-friendly resort, but it's harder to get to than Bannoe or Abzakovo. However, this place is favorite among Urals freestylers, as the varied terrain offers a lot of opportunities for playing around, and there's a halfpipe, bigair, as well as a special snowboard slope with hits and bumps. By the next season they plan to build a snowboard park as well. Small riding terrain make it not very interesting for freeriders or carvers, however, if you're lucky with the snow, you can get some good off-piste boarding for a day or two. The town itself is nothing special, but quiet, and you can find some affordable accommodation and restaurants there.
