Zolotaya Dolina, Russia
Introduction
One of the oldest resorts around St. Petersburg, Zolotaya Dolina was opened 12 years ago. It's located near Korobitsyno village, where you can find two other popular local snowboard resorts: Krasnoye Ozero and Snezhny. Altogether they provide more than 15 km of runs, which are relatively short and easy. Although it's a bit hard to get to Zolotaya Dolina, it worths if you like freestyle: there's a snowboard terrain park, bigair, and halfpipe at the resort and the resort is quite popular among the local snowboarders. Apart from that, it's not really attractive, but can be good if you want a city break: there's a hotel and a few restaurants, which are quite affordable.
