La Molina, Spain
Introduction
La Molina is located at the end of the Moixero mountain range in the Pyrenees. Its slopes descend from the summit of the Tosa de Alp peak and connect by a short bus ride to the neighbouring and slightly larger resort of Masella. These are both welcome alternatives to big resorts scattered around the northern alps simply because mid-week, lift queues don't exist and the slopes are blissfully crowd free. The people of La Molina make you feel very welcome and coupled with neighbouring Masella, both areas have great terrain to shred, with slopes that are covered by trees up to the midway point and then clear pistes up to the summit. The terrain will capture the imagination of most intermediate riders, no matter what their style is, but advanced riders may feel a little left out.New for season
2005/6: new Font Canaleta chair lift and some new high-capacity snow canons
