Savognin, Switzerland
Introduction
Two hours south of Zurich lies the relatively unknown resort of Savognin that is fast becoming a magnet for snowboarders out for a good time and for riders who want to steer clear of the big resorts because they don't want to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of large ski crowds. Fortunately the ski press don't mention Savognin, which helps to keep this gem a small secret for snowboraders to do as they please with. The natives are super friendly and happy to have snowboarders on their slopes. The local snowboard scene is cool with its own riders club where you can find out all there is to know about this place, such as the best hits or runs and where to get messy in the evenings when the lifts are closed. The 50 miles of piste will make a weeks stay well worth it, appealing to novice carversResort Statistics
