World Snow Update 15th April 2011
Fri 15 April 11The Alps have had very warm weather in recent days, although it is getting cooler again now and up to 50cm of snow has fallen on the Austrian, Swiss and German Alps in the past 2 days. in North America there have been still more big snowfalls with whistler receiving 30cm (a foot) in 24 hours and resorts in Utah reporting up to 1.4m (nearly five feet) of snow in the past week

New recycled park at Heavenly for 2010/11
Thu 14 October 10The Tahoe resort of Heavenly have announced they will be building a new jib park built from 100% recycled materials including old tyres and the like.
A-Basin closes for the season but Mammoth remains
Mon 07 June 10A-basin is the last of the Colorado resorts to close for the season after opening way back in October. Mammoth in California still has 29 runs open and is scheduled to stay open until July 5th
Plenty of fresh snow on the glaciers - snow update
Wed 19 May 10Low temperatures and fresh snow for Alpine glaciers, Northern Europe's highest ski area opens for summer ski season. Six ski areas still operating in North America, some reporting fresh snow. Northern Europe’s highest peak opens for summer ski season. Skiing under midnight sun begins at Riksgransen.
2009/10 Season all but over - World Snow Update

Sun 28 March 10In the big 6*TTR event from Mammoth in the USA, Jenny Jones came 3rd in the slopestyle, and in the halfpipe Kelly Clark took top honours.
