Copper Mountain, USA
Introduction
Copper Mountain is considered by many to be one of the best mountains in the USA and since being bought by Intrawest Resorts, the whole place has seen heavy investment to greatly improve a place that was good before. Copper's crowd free slopes with long trails and few traverses, appeal to tree-riding fans and those looking for something interesting to tackle. Powder is in abundance here with four big bowls holding massive amounts of it. Most of the main chairs take around ten minutes to reach their drop off points, although it seems double that time when you're dangling hundreds of feet in the air, with wind driving snow up your nose and down your neck. Still, the lifts are modern and connect well with the runs. Once you get to the top of each run, you will not regret the chair ride as you are presented with a mountain that is lovingly pisted, and well marked out and will make for a great time.Resort Statistics
