Flying

Fly to Denver International, transfer time to resort is 6 1/2 hours. Local airport is Gunnison/Crested Butte, 30 miles south with services from/to Denver.

By bus/coach

Alpine Express run bus services from both Denver and Gunnison airports direct to Crested Butte.

By train

By car

From Denver take Highway 285 south to Poncha Springs ,Highway 50 west to Gunnison , then Highway 135 north into Crested Butte, total 233 miles, drive time is about 6 1/2 hours.

Crested Butte

The dog's balls for backcountry riding, steeps and cliffs, but also a piste-loving carver's destination and good for beginners. Free skiing from 25th Nov until the 15th of Dec. Good and friendly local services.
