From Salt Lake City head north on the I-15 north to Ogden 12th Street exit. Head East on the 39 past Ogden Canyon, continue on 158 to resort. 55 miles total.

Snowcats drop you off at the top of Lightning Ridge providing 700 acres of powder. A 30min hike to James Peak gives access to a number of chutes and bowls. $8 single trip. Group tours availavle $80/125 half/full day accessing huge diverse virgin backcountry.
