Snowbasin, USA
Snowbasin is located north of the city of Ogden. Unfortunately, they hold so many races here that the John Paul Express, which takes you to the men and women’s downhill courses and which accesses a large kick ass part of the mountain, is usually closed of for competitions. Still, there are a lot of other runs to check out with a good supply of black ones at the upper area and a number of intermediate trails leading from the top to the bottom, taking in a few trees en-route.Hotel search
New for season
2008/9:Snowbasin Resort began construction in June on a detachable quad chair lift. The new chairlift will replace the Little Cat lift which services beginning terrain. The bottom terminal will be located above Earl’s Lodge and the upper terminal will end at the upper parking lot. Length will be 1800 feet with a vertical rise of 167 feet with a carrying capacity of 2400 people per hour.
