Falls Creek, Australia
Falls Creek is a well developed modern resort that will make a weeks stay well worth it, but any longer a bit tedious. The 90 or so marked out trails are evenly split between beginner and advanced level, but although there are a lot of runs none are that long.
Still the terrain is good and expert riders will find a selection of steep runs off the Ruined Castle chairlift which also gives access to some open sections and a route down to the more advanced terrain parks on Sun Valley.
There are 3 main terrain parks and a small one for kids. The parks are serviced by the Drovers Dream and Ruined Castle chairlift, they boast a good number of hits depending on the conditions but get the latest setup on their website - www.terrainparkinstitute.com.au.
Riders who like to go fast, will be able to down the fast blacks of the Internation t-bar, while beginners will find the Eagle chair gives access to good nursery slopes.
