Cerro Catedral, Argentina

Gran Catedral lies west of San Carlos de Bariloche. The resort is spread across three peaks and gives rise to the second most extensive resort in S.America. Although a low elevation prevents snow cover to the base for the whole season, cover is usually good higher up with a variety of terrain. Best freeriding areas include the off piste from the Piedra del Condor peak.

Large investments have been made over the last 3 years, replacing a number of lifts and expanding the resort area.
