Freeriding, terrain parks and pistes
in Thredbo Alpine Village

The terrain here is equally matched for all levels and styles of riding with much of the mountain suited to intermediates. Although there are a number of steep advanced runs to keep hardcore freeriders happy for a good few days.

Freestylers will also be pleased to find that there are a number of places to gain air from some big natural hits. There is also a good halfpipe and terrain park which has a series of man made jumps.

Riders have some really nice runs to excel on including a rather long trail that measures almost 6km (the longest trail in Australia).

The beginner slopes here are ideal for first timers with easy runs on the upper sections as well as on the lower areas making the whole mountain accessible.  READ NEXT: Village life, accommodation & nightlife
