Cheap and cheerful - take it for what it is
Sat 12 January 2008 onaminimission
A decent starting point with a good snowboard school. Problem was the continuous trains of learner skiiers which seemed only to be encouraged to use new boarders as slalom posts. The snow on piste was good when I went in early Jan 06, although it got icey on the steeper runs and towards the lower end of the resort. Beer is expensive in the hotels, but shots i the clubs seemed cheap given the remarkable size of a double! I paid £290 for UK flights, hotel, transfer, lessons, hire and lift pass though lastminute (Inghams). I'd recommend for broke student beginners, but spend the extra if you have it.
