Portillo , Chile

Introduction

Portillo is a world renowned American run resort located at the foot of Aconcagua. Its high elevation provides it with plenty of dry snow making for good powder. 12 lifts access some 22 pistes and an abundance of steep off piste faces. Heli operations will take those with flexible enough plastic to higher elevations and descents.

New for season

2008: new high-speed poma lift "El Caracara" to service the Primera Quebrada run which is located to the viewer's left of Roca Jack.
